Report :: The Reconstruction of the Stradivari Arch
Many luthiers attempt to reconstruct the Stradivari arch, but with its constructive principles remaining unknown, they are limited to mere imitation. This report presents a method to systematically reconstruct the Stradivari arch using trochoid curves. Furthermore, this study presents a method to generate a Stradivari arch of any specified width and height for practical application in instrument making.
